New SKODA Kodiaq Reveal
Watch the SKODA Kodiaq worldwide reveal live, right here, and see the exciting new SUV before anyone else
Taking SKODA in a new direction that will see the Czech firm offering its first large SUV, tonight’s reveal of the SKODA Kodiaq in Berlin will be the first time the world has seen the exciting new model. And you can watch the unveiling here, as it happens, thanks to a special live stream. Make sure you’re watching at 6pm today to see one of this year’s most hotly anticipated new cars, and see for yourself just how radical this new model is.
Combining a sense of dynamism with SKODA’s classic qualities of functionality and space, the Kodiaq is set to be an emotive yet still highly practical SUV. With subtly sculptured doors and tailgate, a wide, three-dimensional grille and narrow, raked headlights – available with full-LED technology for the first time on a SKODA – the Kodiaq will enjoy a striking, unique presence. But despite this bold new design direction, it will still be instantly recognisable as a SKODA. After so much teasing, we’re excited to finally see how it’s going to look.
Being a SKODA, the Kodiaq will score very highly on practicality. It boasts a boot capacity of 720 litres with the rear seats up and 2,065 litres with them folded down, which is the biggest in class. And, for a SKODA first, it will be offered with a seven-seat option. The Kodiaq is at the top end of its segment for technology as well, with features such as SKODA Connect mobile online services and Area View – using surround-view cameras with wide-angle lenses at the front, rear as well as in the wing mirrors – which displays the car’s immediate surroundings on the in-car monitor. The range of engines will consist of two TDIs and three TSIs, and there will be manual and DSG transmission, two-and four-wheel-drive options available.
